Key rules for south-facing homes

  • →MOST IMPORTANT: The main door must be in the S4 pada (4th segment from south-east corner) — measure carefully.
  • →Avoid main entrance in S1 (south-east corner) or S8 (south-west corner) — these are inauspicious on south face.
  • →Place a Navagraha yantra or Swastik at the south entrance to channel positive energy.
  • →Keep the north side of the plot lower than south — reverse slope is acceptable here.
  • →Tall boundary wall on south side is beneficial — higher than north wall.
